It was an honor to be the Republican nominee for Nevada Assembly District 34. I received over 14,000 votes, the most ever for a Republican in District 34. We ran an incredible campaign, something I’m very proud of. I personally knocked thousands of doors, held community events in support of constituents, and met directly with voters on the most important issues facing our community. It was truly a grassroots campaign.

I knew the mountain to climb was steep from the beginning. When I began my campaign in August 2023, Democrats led Republicans by nearly 12% in voter registration, and as of this month, it’s 10%. So, losing such a close race shows I over-performed with nonpartisans; our message resonated with Democrats, we brought out high numbers of Republicans, and we inspired independents. But in the end, numbers are numbers, and I couldn’t close the immense gap.

I want to thank my wife Rebecca for supporting me throughout this campaign, my mom, my volunteers, and my supporters. So many of you donated money, knocked doors, made phone calls, wrote postcards, hosted events, and helped me fight for this District. Most of all, we showed the people of District 34 that we truly care about them. That message has not changed.

I’ve called AD34 home for over a decade, and I won’t stop fighting for this community. I look forward to continuing to hold our elected leaders accountable, advocating for the citizens of this district, and doing the right thing on behalf of us all. Our children and our future are too important to be left in the hands of bought and sold marionettes.

Thank you for the honor. This work continues.
