I’m Brandon Davis and I’m running to be the next Governor of Nevada. I represent the 37% of voters NOT registered as Democrat or Republican and those who feel “politically homeless”.
I believe fiscal responsibility, low taxes, and economic innovation are key to a thriving state. I’m firm on individual choice and protecting our rights, and will fight with everything I have to fix our failing education system.
As a business owner, a taxpayer, and a father I’m deeply worried about the direction our state is heading and had to take a stand to fix it. If you’re like me, and tired of red team vs blue team and ready for a real change for Nevada… I humbly ask for your vote on November 8th.
My Biggest Priorities:
• Repeal Taxes To Get More Money Back To Nevadans
• Enact School Choice Initiatives To Fix Our Education System
• Protect Reproductive Freedoms
• Fix Nevada’s Affordable Housing Crisis

What We’re Fighting For
Liberties and Rights
I believe every human person is born with natural rights and liberties, including property rights, rights to bear arms, rights to bodily autonomy, rights to self ownership, rights to speech, rights to who we choose to have relationships with, among others. I believe the government has no business dictating, legislating, or infringing on any of these rights because they’re not given to us by the government…we were born with them.

Justice Reform
I will work to end qualified immunity, civil asset forfeiture, no-knock warrants, and decriminalize drugs. Doing so makes real progress in criminal and social justice efforts, gets Nevadans back home with their families, reduces negative interactions with law enforcement officers, and reduces financial burdens on the state. These are net positives for both the public and law enforcement officers.

Government Waste
Nevada doesn’t have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem. Our state is one of the worst in the US in spending, welfare dependency, and unemployment. Our PEBP and PERS programs are mismanaged and over-bloated. Prevailing wage rates are 60% above the market on a weighted-average basis. Expenditures should never exceed revenues, and I will work to make sure wasteful spending isn’t a burden on Nevada taxpayers.

Economy
A free market economy with as little red tape and government interference as possible is the pathway to economic growth. If we are to expand beyond tourism, gaming, and mining in a meaningful way to diversify our portfolio of industries…it will require innovation and reduced government interference. Tax breaks, abatements, and credits are not the solution and hurt our state’s revenue. Allow companies, startups, and innovators to operate more freely and Nevada will thrive.

Jobs
The fastest way to create jobs is to let businesses operate more freely. Occupational licensing in our state has made it far too difficult for Nevadans to get licensed and start businesses. Payroll, commerce, sales & use, and modified business taxes make it hard for businesses to find revenue for additional employees. The red tape and regulations on businesses makes it unfavorable to come to Nevada. When the government picks winners and losers it hurts Nevada.

Education
It’s time we fund students instead of systems. Nevada’s public education system is not working for our children and needs an overhaul. More choice is the path forward for our children through charters, privates, academies, microschools, and more. No child should be locked into a school because of their zipcode, and no Nevadan should HAVE to pay into a system they want to opt out of. CCSD is too large, bloated with unnecessary admin & staff making six figure incomes while teachers and kids struggle. We need real solutions and throwing more money at it isn’t it.

No, I am not your typical candidate.
I am a dad, a husband, a CEO, an entrepreneur, a director, an artist, and a musician.
But most of all I’m someone who believes in the natural rights and liberties of the individual.
I believe special interest groups are pulling the strings in our state and many legislators and judges are bought and sold.
I believe that more government is NOT the solution to fixing the issues our great state continues to face.
You could vote for the candidates in the same broken two-parties that have caused the mess we’re in.
Or you can be bold, and choose a new path forward.
